Friends of Rita getting together in Rawlins.

From there we traveled to Casper and on to Cheyenne for formal announcements.  Wednesday took us along I-80, stopping in Laramie, Rawlins, Rock Springs, Green River, Kemmerer and on up to Pinedale. Had a great breakfast at the Stockman in Pinedale and headed on to Lander, Thermopolis, Worland and Cody. Thanks Terry for great dinner conversation in Cody on Thursday night.  Spent a couple of hours in Cody Friday morning and then on to Powell and down through  the Basin. We ended the day with the wonderful hospitality of Wilford Brimley and his wife in Greybull. Fresh baked bread and homemade jam.  A day just doesn’t get any better than that!

Wyoming needs leaders who can go the distance. We need more marathoners than sprinters because building and maintaining quality communities takes both time and energy. At times this week felt like a good, healthy sprint but I know that the campaign is in for a good long marathon. We are poised and ready and hope the Wyoming voters are, too. Thanks to all who made this a great start.
